Specific yoga techniques can be used effectively to help manage pain and tension, heal existing injuries and prevent future ones. In this workshop, we will explore a combination of integrative, therapeutic yoga postures and breathing techniques that support the lower back, particularly the SI joints, the sacrum and the lumbar spine. Participants will learn foundational principles that help to unwind patterns of chronic tension, increase functional range of motion, and strengthen underutilized muscles.
This workshop is intended for all levels of practitioner and will provide appropriate challenges and adaptations for each participant, facilitating a positive and nurturing experience for all.
