During this 7-part class series we will explore the classical pranayama and meditation technique called Chakra Sadhana. The seven energetic centers of the body known as chakras offer a rich symbolism that can serve as a gateway for healing the subtle aspects of our mind, heart and spirit.
By focusing on one chakra during each class, and using movement and meditation to ground ourselves into our bodies and the breath as a vehicle for balancing our nervous system, we will develop a better understanding of body and mind while discovering insights into how we can live a fuller, more meaningful life.
Using accessible movements, breathing practices, chanting, visualization and meditation, we will enrich our understanding of how transformational yogic meditation can help us discover a deep sense of purpose, actualize our most authentic sense of self and enrich the quality of all our relationships.
This series will provide useful meditation tools for all experience levels and is intended for anyone interested in yoga and meditation. No prior experience is necessary.
Participants in this class will receive a recording of the practice that they can reference for one full year. If you are unable to attend the class live, you can still register for the class and receive the recorded version.
Please note - You must register 15 minutes prior to the start of class at which time you will receive a Zoom link and Password.
